The SUN Fire V440 is a quad UltraSPARC IIIi processor server, housed in a 4U high chassis.
The V440 is a 4-way, rack optimised server, utilising either 1.062GHz or 1.28GHz UltraSPARC IIIi processors and offers up to a maximum of 16GB of memory. The V440 comes with built-in features such as two hot-plug redundant power supplies, up to four hot-plug 36GB or 73GB Ultra320 SCSI disk drives (providing a maximum internal storage capacity of 288GB), two integrated 10/100/1000 Mb/s Ethernet ports, and a DVD-ROM drive.
