The Sun StorEdge T3 Storage System is a 9-slot enclosure that houses sun disk drives ranging in capacities from 18GB to 300GB, with a total capacity of up to 2 TB per tray. The Sun StorEdge T3 Storage System can be connected by adding up to (8) t3 array trays per 72" cabinet, and chaining multiple cabinets together. The Sun T3 arrays offer the lowest TCO available in any of the Sun StorEdge lines. Controllers are available with cache sizes of 256MB to 1GB. The 1GB T3B version offers a full 2gbit connection to the host, or fabric switch providing the bandwidth your applications need for optimal transfer rates.
